Built to Spill

What's there even left to say about Built to Spill? This band is absolutely legendary and I've had the pleasure of seeing them twice so far. These guys have been making music now for over 10 years and have one of the most unique sounds I've ever heard.

Every album they put out has been better than the last and those were amazing albums. You can tell just by listening to them that they absolutely love what they do. The lyrics are heartfelt and the music is composed superbly.

One of my favorite things about this band is that they take breaks from singing and just jam for a while and really let the song breathe. The drumming is fairly simple but very powerful and the guitar parts are phenomenally written. Along with the well written riffs they have 3 guitarists and layer them perfectly making some unforgettable songs.

Hope you enjoy this band as much as I do.

    You should maybe think about embedding a youtube video of their music in your post. Then people, who aren't familiar with their stuff can listen too.

    Thanks for the suggestion. Maybe I will just didn't want it to get filled up with youtube videos.
